PLAID Supplies
  • FolkArt ® Acrylic Colors - Lipstick Red, 2 oz.
  • FolkArt ® Acrylic Colors - Wicker White, 2 oz.
  • Plaid ® Wood Surfaces - Letter Packs - Cursive
  • Plaid ® Wood Surfaces - Plaques - Rectangle
  • Mod Podge ® Matte, 4 oz.

Other Supplies
½” – ¼” flat brush
Light and dark pink tissue paper
Ruler
Cut outs of hearts
Assorted gems
Black and white photo
Glue

Instructions

1. Basecoat plaque Wicker White and wood letters/heart Lipstick Red.

2. Tear strips of tissue paper and Mod Podge alternately light and dark in one direction on plaque. When dry, repeat in opposite direction to create plaid.

3. Mod Podge photo and heart cutouts as shown.

4. Glue letters/heart and gems to plaque to finish.
