  • FolkArt ® Chalkboard Paint - Green, 8 oz.
  • FolkArt ® Stains - Mahogany, 2 oz.
  • Plaid ® Brush Sets - Foam Brush Set of 4
  • Stencil Decor ® Accessories - Stencil Tape

Other Supplies
Unfinished wood magazine holder sanded smooth
Shop rags
Spray lacquer – satin finish

Instructions

  1. With a foam brush, paint Mahogany Stain over entire project, wiping each side as you go. Let dry. Spray with several light coats of Satin Lacquer letting dry in between coats.
  2. Tape around areas to be painted with chalkboard paint. Apply 3 smooth, even coats of Chalkboard Paint, letting each coat dry before applying next.
  3. Cure for 24 hours before using chalk. Lightly rub chalk over surface to condition.
